What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind we all experience at some point in the day. 2 examples are when we're just about to wake up and when we're about to fall asleep. No mumbo jumbo. It is simply a way of getting our subconscious minds to communicate with our conscious mind through the power of suggestion by working in a lovely, comfortable, relaxed state.

The experience varies - some are more susceptible than others, and that's okay – there's no right way or wrong way you should feel. The therapist's main objective is to guide you to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed. This is YOUR time. A registered, trained clinical hypnotherapist does not have control over the client - they are merely the facilitator - the guide to help change.

As a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (the only regulatory organisation for hypnotherapists in the UK approved by the Professional Standards Authority), I cannot ethically do anything against your will. I only guide you to help you achieve your goals and ambitions.
